La Dijonaise, in Culver City's Helms Bakery Building, is a casual French bistro from chef Pascal Donzel. Moving to the U.S. from France in 1992, Pascal relies on family recipes handed down from generation to generation.
In 2000, Pascal opened La Dijonaise and decided that he would serve fine French food, but without all the snooty attitude and high prices. Nearly 20 years later, the restaurant continues its tradition of affordable French food with a casual atmosphere.
Honored for their croissants, La Dijonaise’s stock in trade is its unique offering of entrees inspired by Pascal’s youth in the Dijon region of France.
